The hill on which the village is built, is made of ochre rock of various colors which are used on the facades of the local houses. Enjoy a short and easy hiking trail called “The Ochre Path” through a former ochre quarry (entrance ticket included). On the way to Bonnieux, take a look at the Roman bridge Pont Julien, one of the numerous Roman remains in Provence. Free time in Bonnieux, a perched village situated on a Luberon promontory.
