Theme cruises are becoming more and more popular and in 2013 we are again offering a wide range of cultural and activity themed cruises. Because our hotel barges accommodate from just 6 to 20 passengers, they are ideal for those looking to cruise with other like-minded enthusiasts, or perhaps in a whole barge charter group.

Vogalonga Regatta Cruise - Aboard 'La Bella Vita' -
May 18

The famous Vogalonga competition in Venice takes place in May each year. The race course has remained virtually unchanged over the years and covers about 30 kilometres by way of canals through the most beloved and picturesque waterways of the Venice. After arriving the previous day, guests will enjoy a wonderful view of this amazingly colourful Regatta from the rooftop sundeck on Sunday May 19th while enjoying a delicious lunch. Then the next day they will embark on a 6-night cruise past the islands of the Venetian Lagoon and through the Po Valley to the Renaissance city of Mantua. For more information please click here

Flower Show Cruises - Aboard 'Magna Carta' -
May 19 & July 7

In England on the Royal River Thames, our hotel barge Magna Carta offers two delightful cruises, one to coincide with the world famous 100th Chelsea Flower Show on the May 19th, and the other to coincide with the great annual horticultural event near London, the Hampton Court Flower Show on the July 7th.
