Aix-en-Provence, Marseille and Cassis
Walk along the Cours Mirabeau lined with 17th and 18th century private mansions, where large plane trees provide shade on hot summer days. The old town is packed with shops, architectural and religious sites, bustling squares and refreshing fountains. Take a stroll through one of the numerous markets taking place everyday in the center of the city. Aix is also the birthplace of the painter Paul Cézanne. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the Cézanne's studio that was built from his own plans and where time seems to stand still (entrance ticket not included). Continuation toward Cassis. Appreciate the exceptional view of the bay from Cape Canaille. Cassis is a very ancient fishing port and the harbour is probably the most beautiful part of the village. You can board on a 45-minute boat trip (ticket not included) to discover 3 Calanques, steep-walled coves with tiny harbours or beaches at the end. Panoramic tour of the city of Marseille on the way back, including a photo stop at Notre-Dame de la Garde Basilica. From this hill, enjoy a breathtaking view on the Phocaean city, the Frioul islands and If Castle. Provencal markets and villages in Luberon
Discover an open-air market each day in a different village: in Gordes on Tuesdays, in Roussillon on Thursdays and in L'Isle sur la Sorgue on Sundays. As the markets take place in the morning only, the order of the visited sites will change accordingly. Drive along countryside roads at the foot of Luberon, and arrival in Isle-sur-Sorgue. Free time to discover the antiques shops along the canals of the « Venice of Comtat Venaissin ». Go at the source of the Sorgue river visiting Fontaine-de-Vaucluse. Walk up to the cave where this impressive river emerges. Wander in the exceptional hilltop village of Gordes which ranks among the most beautiful villages in France. A photo stop at Senanque abbey will be included between mid-June and mid-July only, during the lavender blooming season, to take pictures of the lavender fields. Continuation toward the colourful village of Roussillon and its ochre cliffs. Way back through the hilltop village of Bonnieux and the picturesque and winding Combe of Lourmarin. Free time in the charming village of Lourmarin, famous for its Renaissance castle.

Arles, Les Baux & Saint-Remy de Provence
Arrival in Saint Rémy de Provence : free time in the village. On Wednesdays, enjoy its open-air market, one of the most picturesque in Provence. Photo stop at the Antiques and St Paul de Mausole (Roman monuments and the mental hospital where Van Gogh was interned from 1889 to 1890). Continuation to the exceptional village Les Baux de Provence. From the Middle Ages, the village has kept the narrow streets, the imposing remains of a castle and the memory of the proud lords and troubadours. From the rocky spur, it's a breathtaking view on an exceptional scenery that amazes all the visitors. From March to December, possibility to attend the sound and light show about Picasso in Les Carrières de Lumières (entrance fee not included) instead of visiting the village. In Arles, discover the city by a leisure walk on the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh to discover the places where he created his most famous paintings dated back to 1888. Arles is also worldwide famous for its architectural heritage : the Roman amphitheatre and theatre, and the magnificent Romanesque Saint Trophime Church (entrance fee not included). The weekly market in Arles takes place on Saturdays, take the opportunity to taste and buy local products (fruits, cheese, nougat, tapenade...)

A day in Provence
Set off to explore the UNESCO World Heritage
sites of Provence ! While driving along the docks between the Rhône
river and the medieval walls, you will enter Avignon, the majestic city
of the Popes. Take a look at Saint-Benezet Bridge, famous for the children's
song “Sur le Pont d'Avignon”, and see the Popes' Palace which
is the biggest Gothic-styled Palace in Europe (entrance tickets not included).
In the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, of which the castle dominates
the vineyard, discover the wines of the Rhône river valley in one
of the numerous cellars of the village (wine-tasting included). Drive to
Pont du Gard, best preserved remains of the Roman aqueduct which supplied
water to the city of Nîmes. The tour continues toward the Alpilles
mountain range. Located on a rocky spur overlooking the valley, the medieval

Bandol & Cassis wine-tasting
